2. Hosting and access logs
The hosting provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS under Article 28 GDPR.
Your IP address is needed to deliver pages. IONOS reports anonymising visitor data on collection and retaining it for eight weeks: referrer, requested resource, browser, operating system, device, access time and anonymised IP for location. IONOS states that these hosting data are not transferred outside the EU.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a secure, reliable website.
3. WebAnalytics, cookies and embedded content
Hosting includes IONOS WebAnalytics, enabled by default according to the provider. It analyses visits for technical optimisation without cookies and anonymises IP addresses immediately after transmission. IONOS describes collection through logs or pixels; our own code contains no tracking pixel.
To the extent personal data are processed, the basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our interest in technical optimisation. We do not create individual visitor profiles.
Our own code sets no cookies, uses no local storage and embeds no additional analytics or advertising services. Images and scripts are hosted with the site; fonts come from your device. No maps, third-party videos, social plugins or contact forms are embedded.
4. Email contact
Your email address and message are processed to respond to your enquiry, based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), or Article 6(1)(b) for contractual enquiries. Messages are deleted when no longer needed, subject to legal retention obligations or legitimate evidential needs.
5. External links
External sites are contacted only when you open a link. Their own privacy notices then apply. The “noreferrer” attribute prevents this page’s address being sent as the referring page.
6. Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. You can complain to a supervisory authority, particularly where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. In Baden-Württemberg this is the Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit.
The site code performs no profiling or automated individual decisions. Providing information by email is voluntary.
